Come, My VaniSree

–Isai

Wherever are you Vanisree ?
Don’t you want me to admire your hair tied in a high bun ?
This monsoon
I have placed my men in all the bus stop.
Wishing you would arrive
Sitting near the windows
Playing with the raindrops.
Every one of them returned back with a pouted face.
Someone was helping a blind person
Cross the Road
I rushed towards her asking
“Are you Vanisree ?”
She shrugged as well.
Isn’t is because you didn’t offer
Your scarlet blood in a glass
that I become devoted to wine.
Wherever are you Vanisree !
Are you arriving
or
Not at all.
